The land of Jordan accounts for memorable episodes of the history of humanity. It witnessed several civilizations including Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonia, Assyrian, Mesopotamian, Persian, Nabatean and finally Muslim Arab, all adding cultural richness to its people. This cultural richness has not been void of a Western ingredient, for the Macedonian, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman Turkish empires have left their influence.
Building on a deeply rooted heritage, Jordanians mold their future by investing the nation's diversity and youthful energy and commitment to the principles of hard work and inventiveness.

MADABA AND MOUNT NEBO TOUR & WELCOME RECEPTION
Visit Madaba, the ‘city of mosaics’ including St. George Greek Orthodox Church, which houses the famous 6th century mosiac map of the Holy Land, and the Madaba Archaeological Park, and Mount Nebo, where Moses is buried. Considered one of the most revered holy sites in Jordan, when atop this mountain, experience the breathtaking views, as Moses did, of the Holy Land. A welcome reception will immediately follow at Mount Nebo.

Monday, June 8
BETHANY BEYOND THE JORDAN
Visit ‘Bethany Beyond the Jordan’, the site where the Bible records that John the Baptist lived and preached and where Jesus was baptized. Discovered only recently, excavation as unearthed a 1st century AD settlement with plastered pools and water systems used for baptism, in addition to a 5th- 6th century AD late Byzantine settlement with churches and a monastery.

RELAX AT THE DEAD SEA
Descend to the lowest point on earth for a day of relaxation. Famous for its black mud, the Dead Sea is alive with therapeutic minerals that rejuvenate the senses. Enjoy free time on the shores of the Dead Sea at a spa resort including lunch and use of the swimming pools, beach and spa facilities and the option to add spa treatments for the ultimate in pampering!

ROMAN DAYS
Jerash, the city of a thousand columns, boast an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6500 years. Known as the Pompeii of the East, Jerash has been covered by sand for centuries which is the main reason it is so well preserved. It is considered the best preserved Greco-Roman city in the world with its colonnaded streets, Nymphaeum and impressive plazas and theaters.
ClOSING RECEPTION
Enjoy a private reception at the terrace of The Royal Automobile Museum where you also have the option to visit the automobile showroom.

Petra and Wadi Rum

Day 1: Petra
Visit the enchanting city of Petra which was carved into the rose-red Sharah Mountains by the Nabateans and lost to civilization until re-discovered by the Swiss Burkhart. Walk through the Siq, a narrow and winding fissure between the cliffs, to reach the Treasury, the Roman Theater, the Courts, Qasr Bint Pharaoun, Temple of the Winged Lion and other monuments. Overnight at Taybet Zaman Hotel, Petra.

Day 2: Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum, a desert of sand dunes and mountains of sandstone, has a special mystical aura that will bewitch you. Allow the local Bedouins to guide you to the great mountain of Al Khazali. Discover clues from antiquity carved on the mountains and the fallen boulders, vestiges of human activity over several thousand years. Everywhere there are traces left by ancient civilizations - pictographs of Thamudic, Nabataean, Greek and Arabic texts, formal inscriptions and rock art depicting hunting scenes.

OPTION 3: Holy Land Day Tour
Jerusalem

Depart to the King Hussein Bridge on the Jordan River towards the top of Mount Olives to see the panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds Field. Visit the Christian Quarter of the Old City, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Church of All Nations before heading back to Amman.

OPTION 4: Holy Land OVernight Tour
Bethlehem and Jerusalem

Day 1: Bethlehem
Depart to the King Hussein Bridge on the Jordan River towards Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds’ Field. Visit the Old City of Jerusalem and follow the Fourteen Stations of the Cross ending at Calvary and the Holy Tomb enshrined in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre. Dinner and over night.

Day 2: Jerusalem
Drive to the top of Mount Olives to visit the Pater Noster and to see the panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Continue on foot to visit Dominus Flevit and walk along the Palm Sunday procession to the Garden of the Gethsemane to view the ancient olive trees and to visit the Basilica of Agony also known as the Church of All Nations. Continue to visit Mt. Sion including St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Cenacle and the Dormition Abbey. Enjoy a Panoramic tour of the Valley of the Cross and the New City including the Knesset, the Supreme Court and other places of interest before returning to Amman.
